Here at Grammar Exercises for French and Spanish you will discover a range of notes and exercises to help you improve your knowledge of grammar for both exams and general language development.

I taught French, Spanish and some Italian for 37 years. During this time I was Head of Modern Languages at a major public school for 10 years before becoming a Housemaster and then Assistant Head. I have dual French/English nationality and learnt my Spanish working in the north of Spain. I took degrees at Exeter and Warwick Universities and a PGCE at King's College, London. Now retired, I thought some of this teaching material, which I wrote or adapted, might be useful to teachers or students. All exercises are in Word or PowerPoint format and answers to exercises are given.
